Question: Am I eligible to be enrolled in a college in Canada?

I’m a 30 y.o. from India. I did a degree course in medical science in Russia, which for various reasons did not complete. Since I came to India I have been working as a Medical Transcriptionist. I’m planning to apply for a certificate program in Medical Transcription in Canada. Would the college in Canada take the matter of my discontinued studies in Russia serious and reject my application? pls help.

Answer: If you can explain why you discontinued your studies, and show them, via your application, that you are now ready to study, most universities won’t have a problem admitting you to their certificate program.
