Question: Best way to work from home?
I’m a full time stay at home dad while my fiance works long hours for a tax/accounting office. I’m looking for a way to make some extra money working from home. Does anyone out there know of any LEGITIMATE ways to do this? Please only answer if you are a person with some experience doing this. DO NOT answer with some ridiculous internet scheme. I’ve seen them all. By the way, I WON’T be posting ads or links on Google…that seems to be a pretty popular load of crap.
Answer: Take a home study course in Medical Transcription. Upon completion you will be Certified and can contract out your services to a larger firm to gain experience. You will be paid on an hourly rate commusurate with your ability to perfom. Its based on accuray, dependability and of course, the fact that you are Certified. In the beginning you will not make as much as later. You will not make the rate of someone who owns and operates their own Medical Transction busness as they assume all the responsibility. They correct your work before its sent out to their customers (doctors, hospitals) by the date required. They pay you, not the client.
In time, after you learn the ropes, so to speak you can start your own business from your home. Even when you contract out your services to a larger firm, you do this work from your home. You can work as much or as little as you choose. Some people do go to hospitals and sit in a cubicle from 9-5 and perfrom this work, but the hospital takes out for your medical insurance, unemployment,social security, pension, etc. When you work for yourself, you are responsible for all these things. Doing this from home is lucrative and is one of the new recognized careers. It is all done electronically via your computer. Medical Billing is another way to go and can be incorporated with the Medical Transcription. Many community colleges offer courses in these careers, and its all home study. You also take your Certification tests at home too.
You can keep for the most part, all your income and declare large business tax deductions. Down the road, when you set up your own busiess, and if your fiancee owns 51% of the business on paper, it will be recognized as a Woamn Owned Small Business, and there are perks for that too. Check it out
