When working at home, it is very important to do your marketing right. If you have a job, then you usually get paid no matter what but if you work at home, you are likely to have to find your customers and sell your work or you will not get paid. Before you start a business working from home, make sure you have good and solid ideas of whom your customers will be. Ask yourself the following questions.

1) Who will be your customers?
2) Who are your competitors? Will they steal your customers?
3) Will your customers be loyal to you or will they go to your competitor?
4) What are you going to sell?
5) What are your prices? Are they competitive? Can your competitors offer better prices?
6) Where is your target market? How can you reach your target market?
7) When will your customers buy? Are your products seasonal? How will you make money the rest of the time? Do you need to make money the rest of the time?
8 ) How will you advertise? (word of mouth, networking, flyers, TV ads, radio ads, website ads, etc)
9) How much will it cost to advertise? Will you recoup that money fast?
10) Will you have a website? Who is going to maintain it?
11) How will you attract customers? (promotions and deals)

these are just some of the questions you need to ask yourself before you start your business.
