Question: How do they calculate the KPH on 10 key data entry tests?
In practice, I can do 336 Keystroke in 120 seconds completing 84 fields, but I can’t figure out how many KPH I have without the correct formula. Please can anyone help, I need to do the actual test before Monday morning.
Answer: You did 336 keystrokes in 120 seconds which is 2 minutes. Multiply both sets of figures by 30 to get an equivalent value.
2 minutes X 30 = 60 minutes
336 X 30 = 10080
By the looks of things, you did over 10,000 keystrokes per hour (KPH).
