Question: Can anyone direct me to a website that would have an example of a Distributor Application for an MLM Company?

MLM – MultiLevel Marketing also know as NM – Network Marketing. Just want to look at what distributors usually have to sign in those companies when they pay their application fee to get the starter kit. Any general MLM company would do, doesn’t have to be anything specific. Examples of MLM Companies – Amway/Quixtar, Herbalife, USANA, Longevity, Prepaid Legal Services, etc…

Answer: Ultimate Match.

Question: How much of my household expenses can i claim for my business?

I am a self-employed carpet cleaner, I am based from home and have a spare bedroom as an office.

Both myself and my wife have cell phones, and have a residential line which is used exclusively for the business.

We also have an internet connection, which is used mostly for business purposes, but we occasionally are on line for personal use.

I’m wondering how much (if any) of the following I can claim as a business expense, with relation to California tax law:

- My rent (as my office is at home and i work from home)
- Electricity cost (as above)I use a lot of electricity washing and drying towels and cloths.
-Gas, the apartment is heated by Gas
- Internet and phone line (both are used almost exclusively for business use)
- Additional storage which is again exclusive to business.
-My cell phone,My wifes??

I genuinely use my home for my business so i’m sure i should be able to claim some of the above, i’m just not sure how much or how to calculate it.

thanks

Answer: You can figure all of this out except the cell phones just by working through the home office deduction form. It isn't complicated if you just work through it line by line and refer to the instructions for each step. For the cell phone, that would be a business expense, not a home office expense. It doesn't sound like your wife has anything to do with the business, so I wouldn't deduct the cost of her cell phone.

Question: Attention Word Gurus!!!?

Does anyone know how to save a list of autocorrect assignments?

In Word 2007 you can go to Vista Button, Word Options, Proofing, Autocorrect. There you can add autocorrect assignments (e.g. hctz is autocorrected to hydrochlorathiazide). I want to be able to save all of these assignments to an output format that can be ported from one machine to another and backed up.

As you may have guessed, this is used in a medical transcription business.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Of course, I would like the assignment to spell hydrochlorothiazide correctly! :)

Answer: Not 100% sure about this, but here's a possibility. I think the AutoCorrect List is kept in a file with the file type .acl. Try this:

1.On the machine with your autocorrect list, navigate to the directory

(Word 2002, 2003):

C:Documents and Settingsyour usernameApplication DataMicrosoftOffice

(Word 2007)

C:Usersyour usernameAppDataRoamingMicrosoftOffice

2.Copy the file MSO1033.acl to a flash drive or disk to transfer to the other machine. I think this is the .acl file for English (US) (that's the 1033. The other .acl files there are for other languages.)
3.Remove the medium (after doing a Safely Remove Hardware if on a flash drive) and take it to the other machine.
4.Navigate to the same directory for the other username.
5.Close all copies of MS Office programs.
6.RENAME the existing MSO1033.acl to something like MSO1033.bak in case this doesn't work and you have to restore it.
7.Copy the new MSO1033.acl to the directory.
8.Try Word.

Hope that helps.

Home Business Laws

Starting an internet home business can be life changing, and if you use simple Law of Attraction techniques you can greatly accelerate your results. Applying the Law of Attraction to a new business venture is simple yet offers powerful results.
Using the Law of Attraction deliberately and effectively is simply a matter controlling your attention and your dominant thoughts. Basically, if you think often about succeeding, you will eventually succeed. Yet if you are constantly afraid of failure, you will fail without doubt.

Thinking about failure, about possible obstacles and challenges, and about all of the reason why failure may be an option, will only create problems that would otherwise have been avoided. And, too, thinking about failure is very discouraging, and someone who expects to fail will give up way too soon.

So how can you use the Law of Attraction to accelerate rathe than hinder your home business progress? The real key is giving as much of your attention as possible to success. This does not mean that you think about how you are going to succeed, but rather about success itself.

What do you hope to accomplish with your business? How much money do you desire to earn? Do want a new car, a new house, or just more free time?

Thinking about the results that you want, without worrying about how they will come, is a great way to tip the Law of Attraction in your favor. Visualize yourself living the life that you are working to attain, and the more you see yourself as that person, the faster your progress toward it will be.

Another tool to use is affirmations. Affirming a desired outcome is a great way to feel positive about what you are doing. When you repeat something often enough, you start to believe it. And belief is all that counts, and when you do believe that you are going to succeed, it is only a matter of time until you do.
