Question: Are there any legitimate work from home jobs out there?

I am a stay at home mum and want to earn some extra cash but everything seems like a scam or you need to pay money to get the information and even then its usually a pyramid scheme or some other garbage. Does anyone know of any legit work from home jobs? I am not interested in paid surveys etc but want to do real work. I am located in Australia.

Question: I was wondering if anyone was a member of Paid Surveys Etc. and if so how much money have you made?

I want to sign up but i’m kind of skeptical. I’ve researched it time and time again and all the reviews i’ve looked at say that they’re good and it will make you money, but i just want to be sure.

Answer: Yes I am. It's not an income you could live off of, maybe a few hundred a year, but money is money.

Are those websites that say you get paid for taking surveys and stuff like that really true…………….i mean i found some websites that say you get paid for some easy stuff………..and it’s hard to believe that you can get paid for taking online surveys………..so here r my questions:

1. Do you really get paid or are they just lying about the money
2. How do they pay me??
3. Do you know any websites especially in india which will pay you for taking quizzes and stuff like that??

i like to sign up for “free online paying surveys”… but how do i know which ones will work? are they usually long or short..?? and is it like where one pops out and then ones popps out after..? j.w… i have no idea oh how they work… which web site works the best.?

Answer: There are a lot of scams out there, so be careful. There are a few sites that I have used for a while now and have gotten paid by. The good sites won't charge you to join, and will usually pay around $1-$5 and up to $15 per survey. Each survey takes between 5 and 40 minutes, and you usually get paid within a few weeks.

The sites that I use are SurveySavvy and Opinion Outpost, along with several others. There are a bunch of reviews at http://www.earnontheside.com/?page_id=13 , Just remember, if a site wants your credit card.... then it is a scam.

Question: Can I bill telephone survey companies for my time?

Since telephone surveys are exempt from the Federal Do Not Call list and they are getting paid to conduct surveys, why can’t I charge them a consulting fee for answering my phone and replying to their questions? I have found that by politely saying no does not discourage pollsters, they just call back another time. I have found that wasting their time by giving them conflicting answers frustrates them and often results in them hanging up on me is entertaining but doesn’t adequately compensate me for the inconvenience of having to deal with an unwanted/unsolicited call. Perhaps a short script read to a pollster outlining the terms and conditions under which questions will be answered, a warning that the call is being recorded to document the particulars, specifically the poll takers name, the poll takers billing address and agreement to pay a consulting fee of x $/ hour with a minimum billing unit of x hours. If I am fair game simply because I have a phone, I may as well get paid!

Answer: people who raise a stink like that usually do get a settlement and and apology, if you do it, go all out. don't quit. i recently saw a guy get several thousand dollars and breakfast with the president of nicor gas by complaining lol gl
